Cold Melt®
Cold Melt® incorporates recycled rubber crumb and other organically grown products to create an elastomeric, seamless, cold applied membrane that can be applied to a wide range of substrates including concrete, asphalt and timber. As it exhibits extremely low odour, Cold Melt® can also be applied in confined working spaces. It is made in the UK and BBA Certified to last for the lifetime of the substrate on which it is installed and it is so advanced that it can be even laid over green concrete after just three days.
Proteus Pro-System®
Suitable for both refurbishments and newbuilds, Proteus Pro-System® is a seamless, cold-applied waterproofing membrane for flat roofs, pitched roofs and a waterproofing coating to Proteus Built-Up Roof systems. It is made in the UK and BBA certified. Proteus Pro-System® provides a completely seamless waterproof protection. Unlike conventional polyurethane systems, it uses atmospheric moisture to trigger its cure process meaning it can cure under water without gassing or foaming. It also becomes resistant to rain damage and may, therefore, be applied in relatively poor weather without any subsequent loss of performance or durability. Once cured, it provides a completely seamless waterproof protection with excellent thermal and UV stability, making it suitable for use in all climates.
Installed by Approved Contractors
Proteus Waterproofing provides extensive and ongoing training for all of our cold applied liquid systems to ensure that our Approved Contractor Network continues to deliver quality installations. Proteus Waterproofing training is accredited by LRWA to be BCP (Basic Competency Programme) certified, which will be issued to all operatives who attend training. Each operative’s ability is assessed during the training and a Proteus Approved Installer card is issued to all those that reach the high standard required. Skills are further accessed via ongoing site visits and installation monitoring.
