Sikalastic® RoofPro D-10 Polyurethane Membranes

Sika has been manufacturing high performance protection and waterproofing systems for over 50 years. The Sikalastic® RoofPro polyurethane coating is a single component, cold applied, moisture-triggered, liquid waterproofing membrane, that cures to form a seamless, durable and weather resistant waterproofing solution for exposed roof areas. The range has all the inherent advantages of using liquid membranes, as well as offering the benefit of being a cost effective alternative to other options available in the market.

Sikalastic® RoofPro incorporates technology that allows the material to use atmospheric moisture to trigger the curing process. This means that the waterproofing membrane is capable of curing in a wide range of conditions, making it ideal for use in the unpredictable UK climate. Unlike traditional polyurethane systems, it does not release CO2, which can cause gassing, and application is not delayed by adverse weather, which means roofing works are not slowed down.

Sikalastic® D-10 RoofPro is a moisture-triggered polyurethane membrane that cures to form a seamless, durable, weather-resistant, and waterproofing solution. Used for: refurbishment and new build work, for roofs displaying complex detail areas, even when accessibility is limited. In addition, it can be used for the both high quality repairs and cost-efficient life cycle extension of failing roofs. Asbestos, Ceramic tiles (unglazed), Concrete, Porous Brickwork, Cementitious substrates - Sika® Concrete Primer LO
Asphalt - Not required. Coated Asphalt - subject to surface assessment tests
Bituminous felt, Mineral Felt, Stable Bitumen - Not required – Apply Direct
GRP – Not required – Apply Direct
PVC Single Ply - Adhesion to single ply may vary according to type, age etc. Adhesion test required – PVC Pipe Work & Rooflight Upstands - Sika® Primer PVC
Metals Ferrous or galvanised metals, lead, copper, aluminium, brass or stainless steel - Sikalastic® Metal Primer N or Sika® Primer 207
Wooden substrates - Timber based roof decks require a complete layer of S-Vap 5000E SA Carrier with Sika® Primer 600. For small exposed timber sections, use Sika® Concrete PrimerLO or Sika® Bonding Primer
Paints - Subject to adhesion and compatibility tests
Existing Sika Liquid Plastics System - Sika® Reactivation Primer

For the consumption rates and waiting time / overcoating you should refer to the PDS of the appropriate cleaner and primer. Other substrates must be tested for their compatibility. If in doubt, apply a test area first.
